My journey as a tutor and memoirist has taught me that words are a bridge to connection and healing. My Story
I believe that every individual has a unique, beautiful path—and that learning only truly begins when we feel safe, seen, and heard. Over a 30-year career in education, working with children of all backgrounds and learning styles, I realised that we must support the whole person before we can support the academic mind.
By blending evidence-based learning intervention with a gentle, somatic approach rooted in my 30 years of teaching therapeutic movement, I help co-regulate and build the emotional confidence students need to thrive. From guiding early readers at the kitchen table to celebrating major milestones with adult apprentices, my work is about unlocking the quiet strength within. As an educator, a mother, and the author of Held Together, I know how powerful it is when the right support clicks into place. I am here to partner with your family, collaborate with your school, and act as the missing puzzle piece in your learning journey.
